This is the mock-up of the horns I have so far. I think I make it a tad too large but it'll have to do. Aside from not having as much of a "twist" as I want, it is not too bad. The magnets seems to be strong enough despite having to hold though the foam layers. I ended up using 4 magnets on each side. All 8 of them ends up being quite heavy but at least most of that weight is on the center of the head do it did effect the balance too much.
I still need to cover the base part with thin foam and then my "dragon hide". Also paint the horns themselves white. Getting close to finish that part. I still need to do my fangs and tongue. I do have some foot-paws I am working on but I have a lot to do on that. I doing think I can get a tail done this weekend. Oh well, I guess I be tailless a bit longer. At least I'll have the horns.
