Magnet Plates to Hold My Horns
These are what is going to hold the horns to my dragon fursuit head. I used slightly shorter neodymium magnets than I used in the mounting base but they are still plenty strong.
I had some leftover galvanized sheet metal that I cut out to use to hold the magnets away from each other. Plus have a smoother surface inside the head. I used pliers to bend the metal around the perimeter to eliminate the sharp edges. It had an added benefit of stiffing the plate. I used tons of hot glue so everything stays in place.

Meeting people is one of the best things about cons. I'm not all that outgoing but once I start talking, I really open up.
As for the magnets, they are 1.25 inch in diameter but they do weight a ton. The hold pretty good though except I did manage to know one off during the rave when I went a bit too crazy. That was the only time despite having to go through a 1/4 inch of heavy foam rubber and 1 inch of the regular foam. I do plan on a mod where I'll get rid of the heavier foam and they show should come off no matter how wild I get during my so-called dancing, especially when I switch to the 3D printed horns.
