So you may be wondering why I made a reference sheet for a character that I literally just came up with like a week ago before any of my other, more important characters. And there are a couple of reasons. The first reason is to practice reference sheet making altogether. The last one I made, or at least the last one I put effort in, was my own one that I did over a year ago. So I wanted to see how much I've improved. And I must say, I feel like I definitely have. I probably will start on proper reference sheets for my other characters soon. (if you have someone specific you'd like to see, let me know.) Secondly, despite how new of a character she is, she does play an important role in uncovering part of Ion's past. In addition to that, her backstory and personality have also been fleshed out to a pretty solid degree. So she's already more of a character than KJ. I haven't pumped out a character this quickly since this guy. Thirdly, she's mad cute. I adore her design. Simple as that.

There are some things I feel like I need to improve on. The text is kinda just thrown in there, the background is half-assed as usual, and there's a bit too much negative space for my liking. But definitely not bad for the first one I've done in a while. It bothered me so much I fixed it. Now it looks like a proper reference sheet.

I should draw a full piece with her in it. That sounds nice.




Oh yeah, and she still doesn't have a name. So if you're feeling something, feel free to say. I was kinda feeling Rei but I'm not too convinced by it. Her name is Carina. She goes by Cari.
