The tender is from a 86 new bright set as well I had to fix a loose wire in the tender box with speaker wire cable the wire is thicker so I guess it takes it a minute to gain power all the way through the wire I don't know but I can get the train to turn on but the gears seem to not catch leaving the wheels to only move 5 seconds or less I took the front and back wheels off the other train to make this one look complete the other runs but poorly so if there is a G scale train wizard in the house help is appreciated I have a few other questions as well
