UFO Robot Grendizer - Vega Empire Saucer Beast Bedo Bedo
This will be the last UFO beast for a while, having reach the magical number for Triple Trouble, I want to have all efforts in finishing the Comic.
Bedo Bedo was the Monster of the Week on Ep.20 of the Grendizer Anime and was part of a set of of Saucer Beast to not follow the Disk shape design of the Vehicle. It was also one of Blacki's Personal Mechas, in the few instances he operated one before his death. The Vehicle form almost resembles a plane like craft with wings. It's robot mode was a humanoid painted White, Green, Purple, Grey and Black, it had Blue forearms and Oval shape head with horns, with a evil smile. The Bottom of its feet had thrusters for lift off. It's weapons were Optic laser beams and Trident.
The Vega Army builds a 24 Gravity Control Device Units in order to move the Moon closer to Earth to affect it with its gravity, for maximum destruction at the peak of a Lunar Eclipse. The Units are move to Earth, on Mount Kirifoki, the best point for the eclipse, but the ships are spotted by a group of Mountaineers on an expedition, one of them taking a picture of the Motherburn as it departs: the photo is printed onto a newspaper, coming to the attention of Daisuke who tells Umon. Daisuke (SOMEHOW) deduces Vega's plan, and Umon inform that Koji is on its way to investigate.
As the Vega completes the job, Koji arrives on the TFO and immediately spots the Minifo Work force leaving, allowing to find the secret facility under the mountain and report back to Prof. Umon, and the TFO sneaks into the base finding the Units, Blacki dispatches a Combat Minifos to deal with the intruder. He is shutdown when Duke arrives on the Grendizer and shuts down the Minifos. Blacki decides to take matters in its own hands, launching another squadron and personally piloting Bedo Bedo. The attack group arrives and fights Grendizer, with Bedo Bedo getting beaten (destroy a wing and horn), but one of the Minifo group goes after Koji and captures him, holding him as a Hostage: with no way out, Duke surrenders.
By nightfall, the Vega tried to tied Koji and Duke to crosses (somehow aliens believe in Christ too?) but Duke acts fast, and takes them out with the help of Koji, both of them to escape a Vega Hover craft, with Blacki on Bedo right on their tail. Duke board Grendizer and fights Blacki, though he is briefly shutdown, Bedo Bedo tries to impale him with a Trident, but the Mecha ejects on time. Grendizer fires a Screw Crusher Punch blasting a hole right into Bedo's torso. Blacki escapes on a escape pod before the Monster explodes.
Grendizer then flies to the base and fires Space Thunder at full power, causing a chain reaction destroying all of the Gravity Control Units, avoiding Doomsday just in the nick of time. Blacki leaves, vowing revenge.
