Fulvan Foxtale is the brother of Reynard Foxtale (click the PREV link below) though it's not certain if he's the younger, older or even twin brother of Rey. Even their mother doesn't know for sure because of the way time works in different dimensions. Due to a lot of circumstances that happened before Rey and Van were even born, the brothers were not raised together. While Rey grew up in a fuedal system society, Van frew in a period roughly like that of the 1910's to 1940's where aviation was, pardon the pun, really taking off. Quite taken with the thought of flying, Van would spend a lot of his days at the air field, talking with the pilots, helping the mechanics and being a mascot of sorts for the place. He was the youngest registered pilot in the area and set numerous long-standing flight records. Despite his seemingly adventerous spirit at the controls of a plane, Van's a very cautious, careful guy and created many safety equipment, features and procedures for flying. Once he meets his brother Reynard, the two don't necessarily see eye to eye on many things since Van thinks Rey takes too many uncessary chances. It's not unusual that not a day goes by when the two don't bicker about something though in the end it's often pointed out that they both have the same conclusion but different ways of arriving at it.
