I was designing a group of characters to sell to Hallmark called the Raggymuffins. They're a bit like the Shirt Tails, or the Get-Along Gang or Carebears. They were made to hock cards, but the idea fell through. I like Rugby though, and when I found his sketch I gad to finish him.
He's gay, and a sportsy bear, and he's also dating the town's florist, Oleander Foxglove, a pink fox.
