I had this idea for a while. I play the game Awesomenauts a lot. A. LOT. Coco and Derpl are two of my secondary characters. For those who don't play the game, Coco is sort of a surfer chick, and Derpl is a drooling moron. That's pretty much his character. We're talking Peter Griffin level of retardation.
...That being said, I like to think that while he's an idiot, he's a bit like Futurama's Fry. He's also a sensitive soul with an artistic streak who wants the love of the fair Coco, but lacks the mental acuity and co-ordination needed to woo her properly.
Thankfully, he does have an AI secretary to translate for him.
