Another design for Awesomenauts that I've created. She's the far more aggressive sister of Clyde D. Equinox. I introduce you to Princess Cloudia H. Equinox and her minion Sparkticus.


Backstory:
Twin sister of Prince Clyde, Princess Cloudia was also pampered from birth as a member of Unicornian royalty. But while her brother learn etiquette, politics, and the piano, Cloudia delved into the art of war. Her grandfather, a great war hero, took a shine to her enthusiasm. Training for years, she became a great warrior, wielding the great hammer with unmatched ferocity and skill.

When her mother finally put her hoof down and demanded Cloudia settle down. A political marriage between another Unicornian aristocracy was arranged. Cloudia rebelled and ran off in the night, taking with her the legendary prism hammer Mjülnir. She joined the Awesomenauts to escape her fiance. Nothing would surprise her more when he brother later joined for his own reason.

Cloudia smashes the ground in a downward arc, causing a little rainbow trail.

Jump: Sparkticus

Using modified drone technology from Voltar, Cloudia has a small platform that floats around her in a rather erratic pattern, just like Voltar. It gives off a smoke cover and can carry 1 passenger. She usually uses this to jump to reach higher places since her own wings are just for decoration. She can also use it to tow someone behind her. But it has a 1 person weight capacity. If another person jumps on, either an ally or an enemy, it will fall to the ground and short out, taking several seconds to repair itself.

Attack 1: Unicorn Fury

Cloudia unleashes her warrior's fury in a berzerk mode. She will become stationary for several seconds. During that time, her damage and attack speed increase, allowing her to do massive damage. But it cripples her defense, making her a much more vulnerable target. If she isn't careful she might fight herself killed off by turrets if someone destroys the drones protecting her too soon.

Lightning Strike:

Sparkticus rains down destructive lightning bolts beneath him.

Increased platform length (More bolts & room to manuver on platform)
Twin Bolts (Fires upwards as well in case enemies catch a ride)
+1 passenger


I imagine her as a short ranger explosive damage character. That's I made her faster since she has a lot of vulnerabilities. She's definitely a 'Wrong button death' kind of character. She works well with her brother who can create a shield to protect her in fury form. And since people have been demanding a character who other characters can ride in (tank, vehicle) I thought that having a speedy character who can drag someone behind her on a platform would fulfill this role. Sparkticus floats around randomly like drones, so his attacks are hard to control. But Sparky dips down when someone is riding on him and they're dragged along at much the same speed as Cloudia. Devastating to transport a turret Derpl around behind her, or a slow Voltar to heal her in fury form.

I feel she would have a dialog similar to Wonder Woman and Thor. On top of having hoof noises as she runs, I also picture her with having the Booming echo-y tone like Thor in this video.
