*grins* Wuff spent about 6-8 hours over the weekend, adding to the story. Now Vrghr needs to fix some of the worst grammar/spelling errors, tune up the syntax some, and correct some of the more blatant consistency fails. Then we ought to be ready to post at least 2 more segments, with some good start on the next.
Wuffy could have waited until he had the full story done. But seeing that ol' Vrghr has been working on this for over 4 years now, wuff figured that, without motivation from his readers to finish things up, it could take that much longer before the finale chapter was done. At least folks can get a taste of things to come this way.
Could be worse - could be publishing this in "penny novel" form and putting out a chapter every month or so.
But there's definitely interest in OYrn's adventures and a desire to know what's coming next, and wuff has worked up another 6 -10 hours worth of writing that'll be published as soon as he eliminates some of the more egregious spelling and grammar errors. *grin* And 'tunes up' a few of the more blatant disconnects in continuity. (How many foes did OYrn count again? *reference reference read review* Oh yeah!!)
You're right about the engineers (and maintenance techs)! Tick them off, and you may be "enjoying" lukewarm coffee from your brewer and sudden spurts of ice water from your shower (or worse) until you get back on their "good side".
