The character looks more like he is crouching, not sitting. That last part of the leg is drawn too long. (Here is a good digigrade leg reference. http://fc02.deviantart.net/fs21/f/2.....katelesedi.png )
Your backgrounds also appear to be too soft. The character doesn't really look like it's in it.
Use shading underneath the character, and maybe lineart the background, too.
Farther out into to the background, things can look a little bit blurrier.
