Sketchbook 214: Even Squirrels fall from Trees
It's been a while since I've drawn a pic of my squirrel gal, Auburn, so I decided to remedy the situation. I also wanted to practice with perspective a bit because that's something I need to work on.
I really hope it's evident that it's a bird's eye view >.<
Giving credit where credit is due, the idea for a pose like this came from a discussion about the character with someone over on InkBunny. While the pic isn't exactly the scenario they described, I like the idea of the pose (and face that would come with it) and so this happened.

Wow, that face makes you feel the impact along with her /)o0o(\
Poor girl, she's going to have a noticeable bump on her head after that.
Really nice work with a more difficult pose and at the risk of sounding mean, that face she's making is really cute, to bad she had to get hurt to make it.

I bet this happened shortly after https://www.furaffinity.net/view/32.....#cid:143411347 she flipped up forward too sit upright in order too jump off but straightened her legs as well by mistake and fell over a meter, mostly on her back!
