Second concept art for a new lich character. It's easier to see the concept here.

His name is Dex. (actually it's 42 syllables long, but it's shortens to Dex)

Basically he was sealed in his tomb for centuries and the isolation made him more chaotic batshit than chaotic evil. One of the walls to his tomb was broken down when some maintenence workers from a nearby town tried expanding the sewer. It was on trash day so all sorts of things were left in the streets.

Dex is under the impression that the town worships him as a demigod and that the trash left out on a regular basis are offerings.

The mayor and the nightwatch are aware of him though. But seeing as Dex is insanely dangerous and is protecting the town from outside monsters because it's his and everyone else can fuck off, they leave him alone. The mayor even makes sure to add some actually good stuff to the "offerings" so Dex doesn't get offended.

That's actually where the fur coat is from. They needed an offering and the mayor's wife gave up an heirloom fur coat for it.

All the jewelry is costume jewelry though. It sparkles, but it ain't expensive.

The parrot is named Mike and Dex has never made any moves to make it undead although he talks to it regularly.
