So... I have somehow been working on this today. I actually didn't want to, but ended up doing it anyway.
I was so hyped when I found a crescent shape as well as a 4 point star shape. I put them on my avatar (had a bat avatar before) to try them and saw that everything works just perfectly.
So I started working on the wings... And soon after the whole body was done.
The ribcage was an ordeal. I was actually ripping apart a machine avatar to get the torso, but it had so many little parts... Well, not really ripping apart, I just made everything I didn't need invisible. As I wasn't able to rezz it where I was, it was too big.
The head was quite the breeze to work on and I'm glad the eyes worked out so well immediately, I was actually scared of them.
All in all I'm superhappy about my avatar! It was really fun to work on and wasn't as difficult as I have expected it to be!
