Faren was raised by ravens, and collects bones, using the energy she takes from them to allow her to stay on Terra. She has the power to painlessly end life of any creature, but rarely uses it. She also gives off large amount of heat, mainly under her wings, due to being unable to control her inner energy properly. This issue was made worse when she encountered Nightshade, who transferred over 35 years worth of torment and anger into the otherwise innocent dragon. This caused her to almost be lost to the Abyss, but she fled into the depths of space, isolating herself on a planet where she could do no harm with her great rage.

Here she met Starlight, a dragon who lived a very different life. Starlight, a star dragon, was something beyond the mystic realms understood by Faren, and she found herself drawn to her. The two partnered up, Faren finding a purpose in being an envoy to the massive dragon, getting permission for Starlight to feed on mineral deposits on planets.
