She nervously tried to explain what had happened, but couldn't find the words and started to cry instead. She covered her face and apologized between sobs and squeaks.
She wanted to tell him she was still herself, that she was still the girl he knew, but she couldn't. How could she? Was she the same girl? She wasn't sure. She began to sob louder as her pent up insecurity overwhelmed her.
Then she felt his arms around her hugging her close, and nothing else mattered....
After a long day spent together they sat by the sea and watched the sunset....
