One of Shardaron's favorite activities is flying. Acrobatic flying especially. The wind in his face, the cool mist of the clouds, the stomach churning of freefall, the strain on the wings of a tight turn, the thrill of being on the edge of control. Most of all, the feeling of freedom. To be up above, to be away from it all. Free to go where you want, when you want. Up, down, left, right, forward, back. And, in a way, closer to God. Lost in silent reflection and prayer. To think and ponder in peace. Flying is a simple pleasure but one that means so very much to him.
