"The end of the first week saw me finally able to break away from my thoughts about eating long enough to take a short kayak trip around the resort's bay. I mean, after stuffing myself beyond all reason last night and having a food-hangover this morning may have had something to do with it. But it occurred to me just how... soft everything is.
