Getting my daily hours of sketch practice in. After getting used to drawing basic 2D shapes, I think it's time to move onto 3D forms. I'm going to start with the cube. First I traced over the photos, and then tried to draw the cubes from the reference without tracing.
Probably going to spend all day tomorrow drawing cubes from different angles XP
Sadly my tablet's pen tip is already getting worn down on one side...oof.

I've been thinking about that for a while. With smoothing raised to get rid of jitters in the strokes, i can do circles, but they always look so strange to me in a single go https://snag.gy/WYrbRu.jpg
Actual drawing doesn't translate perfectly to digital drawings, but try to draw circles in a fluid but steady motion. You will fail. Tons of times. But it's not only meant for you to get used to the shape. You develop also some confidence that way. And the reason they look "weird" is that they appear cleaner and basically sterile to the sketch. However, the more erratic and shorter the lines, the more chaotic and dirty it appears.
How about these? https://snag.gy/8ZtjOV.jpg I don't think i'm ready for circles quite yet, that sounds scary in a single motion, but i'll try a straight line for a few hours.
