My first ever attempt at drawing Invader Zim fanart was posted to dA back on July 31, 2010, as can be seen here: https://www.deviantart.com/tallest-.....-XD-173477043. That’s almost exactly nine years ago.
SO in honor of Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus I decided to redraw it. As you can see I made some changes. Purple was left out and I decided to have Zim actually leaning into the choking, like he’s into this damn it.
He’s telling Red exactly what he thinks about being sent off on a fake mission. I like the Tallest but at the same time, they are assholes and if Zim snaps and decides to murder them they absolutely have it coming. So here Red is, his protective chest armor broken off and hover rings disabled, being choked out and forced onto his knees by the Invader he thought would never amount to anything.
And as Red starts to fade out from blood loss and oxygen deprivation, he begins to think that maybe, just maybe… he should have been nicer to Zim.
…SO WHO ELSE IS READY FOR ENTER THE FLORPUS? :D
