STORY TIEM
Despair ran. She didn’t have time to think about what just happened; she just new she had to run as far as her legs would take her. She wove through the city, occasionally pushing her way through crowds. No-one chased her, but she still had a feeling like the guards were hot one her heels. Soon her stamina ran low, her run decaying to a trot, then a walk. Looking around, it was clear that she had no idea where she was. Despair knew she would need to find somewhere to hide, those guards could still be looking for her.
Ducking down a nearby alleyway, the pink cabbit spotted a potential hiding spot. A lean-to was draped in tattered gray cloth at the end of the alley. Timidly making her way towards it, Despair managed a soft “Hello?”. She was greeted with silence, so the girl moved closer, brushing the cloth aside. Within the small hovel was nothing but a pile of straw. Looking behind her cautiously, she settled herself down on the mound of straw, the gray cloth preventing someone spying her.
Bringing her knees to her chest, the cabbit thought about the events that had just transpired. Ire was no doubt about to be killed by those horrible people. If only she was stronger, she could have done something to help him instead of being the cause of his capture. Tears began to leak from crimson eyes, marking familiar paths through white fur.
After all he had done for her, he had protected her and taken her from a land where she would have surely perished, he had saved her from that group of guards, sacrificing himself. Sniffling, Despair tried to stop the flow of tears. She would find him, she had to. There was no way she would get through this alone, maybe she could find someone to help her save him, she owed him that much. Silently the pink girl started devising a plan to get her guardian back.
