The U-series is a joined effort of Ultratech, Avto Zavod and the Bullseye omni company to create the ultimate modular weapon system composed of serveral interchangable parts that can be assembled around a basic reciver that can be easly reconfigured to fire 4 different ballistic ammo types or stripped of all it's ballistic mechansims and replaced with a plasma chamber turning it into an energy weapon, the components are divided in 6 main categories, that will be explained in detail:

BARREL MODULE:
the barrel module will influence several statistics of the weapon from rate of fire on ballistic firearms to velocity of energy shots

- Compact and Standard ballistic handguard
this basic handguard module contain the ballistic KE barrel inserts and the gas system that can be set and reconfigured to change rate of fire or simply removed to change the system from a semi-full auto into a straight pull one

- Stabilized barrel
an enhanced accuracy ballistic barrel that with the aid of an electronic control module that can interact with the scopes mounted on the weapon, can maximize hit probabilities

- Compact and standard linear accelleration barrel
These barrel modules are designed for accellerating Synthetic plasma bolts in energy weapon setting or to drastically boost ballistic setting KE energy, making them the most versatile yet most expensive barrel modules of the whole K-series

- Beam Fragmentation Module
This unusual module is a configurable elementh that can turn energy weapons in multi beam guns, by fragmenting the plasma streams, it can be also used as an accessory to allow energy feeding, with the top magazine configuration

- Cyclotron Barrel Module
The most powerful barrel type for energy weapon, the cyclotron built-in in this barrel module can charge up and accellerate to really high speed great ammount of synthetic plasma, to then release it in hi power shots making it the most powerful but also slowest of the U-series barrel modules

MAGAZINE-CELL
The feeding system of weapon, might it be a standard prismatic magazine or a high tech plasma cell

- Standard magazine short and long
these are the standard issue magazines for most of the ballistic ammo types, easly adaptable thanks to interchangeable inserts they can be converted easly to most ammo types except the 4.7mm

- Light magazine adaptor
due to the small size of the smallest ballistic rounds an adapter have been created to feed the 4.7mm rounds, the magazine thanks to the shape of the adaptor are also quicker to change than most other magazines of the U-series

- Electrical Belt feed drum
the biggest and heaviest magazine of the U-series it's this electrically driven linkless feeding drum that allow for tremendous capacity with most ballistic type ammo, the bulk addition to the weapon is serious as much as the continous firepower increase

- Top Feed multipurpose magazine
the TFMM is one of the most versatile magazines of the U-series able to both hold substantially more ammo than standard ballistic mags it's also roomy enought to feed power cells making it the only magazine that can be used for both ballistic and Energy configurations

- Power cell
Standard issue Synthetic plasma power cell, the basic most economic power source for every energy weapon of the U-series

- Dual hi power cell
as the name implies it's a pair of high power cells linked togheder to ensure the highest possible power output, ideal for energy weapon that have to fire for prolonged periods of time or have a great energy consumption

STRUCTURAL ELEMENTHS
The parts that compose the structure of the weapon and dictate if the weapon would be standard, bullpup or top feed

- Standard main Reciver
The standard main reciver is the core of the weapon it can be easly configured for different bolts, recoil springs eccetera, to be able to deliver ballistic and energy shots, composed of a duralloy structure with layer of high resistance dynamotensile polymers

- Stock and Buttpad
the stock it's a duralloy structure that can be set to 6 positions for lenght and cheek pad can be set to 4 positions making the weapon in any configuration comfortable for most shooters

- Universal Grip Module
The standard control interface that the user have to control a U-series firearm it can be locked on the main reciver or other elemenths and via digital signals it control the weapon, making it easy to configure but also the main responsable for the weapon safety, keeping track of all the parts within the weapon

the smart FCU is a multipurpose elementh that can be integrated with several modules to increase accuracy and precision of the weapon in various ways, from controlling smart chokes to calculate ballistics in long range shots

UNDERBARREL LAUNCHER
As all modular weapon systems an underbarrel launcher to deliver explosive ordinance is a must, the launcher can be used with standard issue grenades but can also be integrated with some special modules to adapt it to different threats

- Grenade launcher
the core of the underbarrel weapon system, by standard a low pressure grenade launcher able to fire a vast assortment of ammunitions, can be easly reconfigured to be a compact missile launcer or a smooth bore semi auto

- MIRV grenade
a 3 stage smart missile weapon composed of a grenade launch charge, a booster and finally a trio of MIRV missile submunitions able to adapt to various targets, from spreading out and cover an area with multiple detonations, or hit the same armored veichle in the same spot to maximize damage

- Semi auto GL Conversion
an easy to install conversion that feed from stacked ammo tubes of bucksots, able to deliver 4 shots in quick succession, making it an ideal smooth bore tool for breaching

SIGHTS
the aiming devices that ensure the accuracy and target detection

- Standard dual Sights
avabile both in the carry handle and separated form these sights use holotech to quickly and easly line up and engage targets in close to medium range encounters

- M-DOG Multipurpose Digital Optical Gunsight
the M-DOG is a configurable and adaptable optical sight that can drastically chage it's internials to adapt to all situation, from thermal imaging to night sight, from a marksman scope to a mid range fire support optic, as all U-series parts it's a true jewel of adaptability

- Long range optical Addon
the M-DOG LR Addon it's a stabilized optical magnification device that ensure great accuracy at long ranges making it the ideal tool for snipers
