An idea by 
DuetSneplynx, that I just couldn't help but join in on the bandwagon for. And certainly not without adding a personal twist.
One of the Kitty Pennys couldn't help but test out a new device before making sure the circuitry was up to spec. Unfortunately, not only did it make her like this, but the device itself broke! Now she's stuck like this until she can figure out what went wrong. And how to reproduce this effect in the future, when she knows how to reverse it.

The hedsentales idea wasn't originally from vix, they just had fun with it. I forget the name of the artist who did originate it though.
