"Okay, let's see what's first on my itinerary...aha! Crime-Watch! Now, if I were a dreg of society what nefarious deed would I be occupying myself with today?" Said the Matt, clad in hero getup, standing against the surface of window, no doubt baffling the occupants as to why this guy was there scratching his chin contemplatively and seemingly talking aloud to himself. A scream of sirens below and the honking of car horns signalled the costumed man to leap downwards, pitching and rolling on his plummet before swinging like a pendulum through the streets. Being a resident superhero was interesting to say the least, especially considering the following: bad pay (or rather NO pay), no vacation days (crime never sleeps, so that means you don't either), there are some really strange and angry people out there (either costumed villains or news network personalities), and there were almost always girl problems (maybe leading two lives lead to that "complicated" status on your social media). Swinging low and on target the hero shot a thread onto the vehicle being pursued and pulled towards it, sticking the landing and flipping in front of the windshield. "You guys realize a speeding ticket is like $600, right?" Matt joked, the criminals within the car surprised and frenzied further. Narrowly dodging hollow point rounds to the chest, Matt flipped onto the roof, shortly rolling to the rear bumper as rounds punched through the steel below his feet. "Don't even get me started on the laws about discharging a firearm without a license!" Matt yelled, taking aim with his thread-slingers and latching onto two parallel buildings and connecting them to the trunk and, slinging back to the hood and attaching another web there. Turning and gesturing left and right Matt leaped backwards and watched the vehicle get pulled upwards and turn. With seconds to act Matt sprayed the silk onto more building walls and building a net to catch the now falling car. Jumping back up to the vehicle as it came to a halt a mere twenty feet from the ground Matt greeted the thugs with more quips and webbed hands all around. Swinging away after his first encounter for the day Matt swung home for a second, removing his mask and sighing with a rush of adrenaline, Matt opened his drawer to grab more canisters for his slingers. "And what news do I have today, other than overdue rent, and more bills?" Matt joked, laying down for a second, nearly dozing off before more sirens brought him back to speed. "No rest for Wolf-Spider I guess." And with that he was off again, saving the day.
