Pretty foul probably. A mix between feline and canine and also morning breath because he'd been sleeping for a long time before he was so rudely interrupted.

Mort has been incredibly difficult to read since that flashback. The pendant means enough to him to consider the options, he's clearly ticked about being denied it and his meal earlier, but he also has shown some sort of sympathy, while remaining threatening. I legit can't tell if he's holding up a façade for traction or he has a variety of issues.

I feel that both could be true.

He's a complicated monster~

I am kind of picturing Noah failing to get the amulet fixed and mort getting it fixed no thanks too Noah and mort saying “no one else is going to see you again” followed up by mort swallowing him. Than Noah goes through full tour before recovering to find himself locked in a gilded cage with mort explaining that he has added Noah to his horde and he will never escape before giving out a bit of a petting.

I kind of want to see mort turn a bit yandere/tsundere for his first friend.

Haha I don't think there will be a cage, but their relationship will evolve overtime.
