Mort’s crazy laugh is definitely inspired by Moro’s crazy laugh. I look forward to animating this at some point in the future…

The happy ending would be Mort getting his meal back.
That dumb human shouldn't have been messing withbsomething he didn't understand. I have zero sympathy for the little bugger. That's what he gwts for mucking about, AND trying to beg for his kife, from the ery same creature he injured or tried to kill.

It would be very boring and anti-climactic if the dumb human gets to be alove at the end honestly, to me. Sick of humans surviving when they shouldn't.
Noah deserves it, because he not only injured Mort, but he also was in posession of something he shouldn't have had.
Then on top of that, he puts up a fuss and is an annoyance when all Mort wanted was to eat the little morsel. Big animals have to eat too, its not always about the puny wankers; seems barely any of you understand that.
Then has the audacity to ask or beg for themselves to be let go? After all the trouble AND pain Mort has been through? Not even I would let Noah leave. Mort has worked too hard for this little meal, I sympathize with the big fuzzball.
Besides, humans are sex addicts and breed like rabbits. I don't think ONE ending up as demon chow would rrally be an ossue.
You're not going to change my mind about this and "join" your side of the argument, so stop trying please. Its pitiful.

Thats funny when I have seen more comics ending with HERP-DE-DUR digestion.
It is survival thats all I'm going to say Mort hurt him first. and as for that amulet it was likely he thought it was just an ordinary piece of jewelry not something magical that attacks demons.
He puts up fight a natural instinct in attempt to try to stay alive, he deserves to be food! Mort is more than just a big animal he demon. The comic also started with him as the first character already bloody from a possible scuffle.
He was left no other option what else is he supposed to do? Familial abuse is not an excuse for him for him to be this way. i would expect someone among the digestion majority would want it to end in such a way.
Arent you the humanist? bringing real life controversial issues in fictional comics like these.
And finally no I don't expect to change the mind of someone who likes death in vore many people are set in their ways and are stubborn to change.
I'm done here I don't feel like debating this any longer its lemons choice about this ends out and I'll accept of how it ends. By the way I actually do like mort I think this is a very interesting comic.
Good day.

Playing Devil's (Demon's?) Advocate here...
Noah was misled about what he was going to be facing, then given a pathetically insufficient weapon. He couldn't kill a badger with that dagger, let alone an Imperial Fire-Demon big enough to swallow him in one gulp!
Yeah, he tried to kill Mort, but he more or less was given no choice in the matter. Even if he'd tossed the thing away and thrown himself on Mort's mercy... Mercy? From the giant man-eating yokai that's already professed to hate humans? Noah stuck the knife in his gums after he all but bit his arm off. It was a last-ditch attempted to save his life and what do you know, it worked! For a little while...
Go easy on the kid. He was put in a rotten situation. Only reason he IS still alive is because Mort wants that amulet more than he wants a meal. He wants it BAD. And right now, there's ONE human that's willing to help him in his quest - the kid in front of him. Mort is ALSO in a rotten situation from his perspective. Neither of them are really happy they're stuck with the other. But that amulet binds them - for the moment.

Then ask yourself this basic question... What would you have done in his place?
There aren't any real villains here. Noah's trying to save his sister. Mort is at worst an anti-villain... He has his own demons to wrestle with, and for the most part he seems to just want to be left alone.
This isn't black and white. And that's what makes it an interesting story.
