Here is the character I've just thought of who has a similar personality as Velma but more critical and snobby.

During her time as a graduate student and teacher assistant, she's been arguing her boss(the teacher and head of department) for not giving her credit after her super hard work in researching and experimenting, as well as not paying her as much. Valerie is from Canada but her family are from Australia so she has an Australian Accent.
By the way she was pulling a finger using her pinky not her, you know what.
