“Upon the eyes of my peers, my reputation means nothing to me, upon the eyes I adore, admire, and desire, it means the world to me…”
To Resist or Obey?
In the beginning, there was nothing; nothing but a cool breeze in an endless limitless space. However, one being walked through the dark cool tunnel, endlessly and alone. Step by step would echo if it were not for the loud pounding wind. As he traveled, he began to wonder if he truly had to be alone; did he really have to walk through this darkness? He pondered more and examined his person and everything around him. Where did he come from? How was he created? All that was here was dark and wind…and him. He examined himself further and found that he was not one person, but many in one. Why were they trapped within him? Perhaps he could let them out?
Soon he clawed through his skin, down to the bones, but he couldn’t stop. His body continued to turn to ribbons as he began to lose his energy. By now he realized he missed one more thing in this vast nothing. Everything in the nothing, had energy. The wind that pounded had a force that could not be stopped…he called it fate. And as he examined the last of his own energy, it spilled out onto the floor in a mass of sparkling and glowing gold. His blood and body had finally poured out to the floor…he called it life…and with that, he found he was not alone.
His bloody and body soon spread across the endless space, every piece of energy creating something new and different. Gods and worlds. Stars and power. But most of all the ability for the trapped lives in his blood to be free by his sacrifice.
And so began the rules of the lesser gods…
