Double-reveal time!

If you thought Red’s parents were as unimaginative as I tend to be, then I’m happy to disappoint – he just put his ‘real’ name on a metaphorical peg after his sister died to try and leave that painful part of his life behind. A fellow crook nicknamed him Red thanks to his fur and he just ran with it. Now that he has a new future to look forward to, and someone to share it with, he’s finally happy to bring his name back from proverbial retirement and hear it said once more.

I’ll still be tagging Michael as Red as well as his new name in the comic credits, to avoid any confusion for newer readers looking up older pages with him in them, but at least to Karine, his real name is revealed and returned.

Meanwhile – babbies! Yup, Karine’s preggers and Michael/Red’s the lucky father. Shockingly, if you go having gratuitous amounts of unprotected heterosexual sex, babbies sometimes happen. Might also explain why she was so randy as to suggest they shag Raziq’s lucky striped brains out in the ruin.
