Personality: Caring, somewhat fatherly, and protective. He holds a good deal of personal guilt for not being there for Etrian due to unforeseeable circumstances.

Background: Following his return to Earth from Haven, Vylas headed straight for Coast City. After seeing all was relatively well with Etrian, he continued on, not sure about reuniting with his son yet. But after he did, he took up superheroics of his own as Phantom Heart, bearing the symbol of his deceased wife on the costume's shoulder.
