Time for something a little different today folks, drawn for me by  Dutch this too is an OC of mine, but not for Death Valet, he's my Dreamkeeper character/sona, Dreamkeepers is an awesome webcomic and I like reading it quite a lot, figured I'd make a character for the setting, enjoy :)

In the city of Anduruna, there are multiple factions vying for it, to say nothing of the whole Dreamworld.

There's Nightmares, who want to kill everything, the Central City Authority who want to keep an overly strict order, the Neon Knives who basically want to be the biggest swinging dicks in the city and the Troika, which seeks to prevent the Nightmares from taking control and also engage in more than their fair share of morally dubious behavior.

Beneath the notice of the others though, are a fanfaction I've devised and hope to make, even if its only just fanon based right now.

I decided to come up with another protagonist faction, called the Shashashin, whom I'd loosely based on the Hashshashin, the Bavarian Illumiati and Anonymous.
Essentially, akin to Troika it's a shadowy group that opposes the Nightmares also. However, while both are essentially vigilante groups, the Shashashin are significantly different. Instead using stealth and covert methods to try and change Anduruna's political situation for the better.

And unlike the Troika, their main focus is in fact to try and keep those in authority accountable to the people they can control or influence, something that the Troika aren't quite as interested in.
The Shashashin are also pursuing other methods of fighting Nightmares, through money stolen from street clans (Andurunan street gangs and mobs) and unscrupulus officials and businessmen, though more on that possibly some other time.

The founder and leader of the Shashashins is Sasha Addinsinan, a Dreamkeeper from the Margate District that developed this covert organization after an incident with Tadpole (a form of LSD/acid esque drug I invented for the Dreamkeeper setting) that caused him to have a sort of 'cosmic enlightenment' of sorts. Which was how he learned that yes, the Nightmares are very real, and very dangerous.

He's an amiable and easygoing fellow, albeit a bit tempemental and moody, with a fondness for junk food.

But though he prefers nonviolent solutions (violence generally isn't his first solution to solving problems, though when it is needed he generally doesn't hesitate), he'll defend the inhabitants of Anduruna when their lives are at stake, with the help of his organization, whether the city knows about them or not.

And he'd prefer the people didn't know about them to be honest.
