Joannie is a hard-core trainne soilder, with an explosive temper (which can go off by the most ridiculous pet peeves). Joannie, needless to say has the worst temper out of the female Travelers, and possibly everyone else; but she numerous times has at least has tried to calm herself down (this only helps a little, and it's rarely ever successful).
RELATIONSHIP WITH JACKSON
Joannie has probably had a worse relationship with Jackson, than anyone else, this is due to the many times he has scornned her, or tried to ask her out; in fact Joannie disliked Jackson the moment she saw him. But the truth for Joannie disliking Jackson, is because she is jealous of his freedom; Joannie has always been traped behind the walls of Reserve's without a chance of getting out and exploring the outside world (a very similar scenario to that of King's). Joannie cares for Jackson, and doesn't wish to harm him, but her anger beats her control, and is therefore not able to get ahold of herself; Joannie wants to explore the world along with free-spirited Jackson by her side; but right now Joannie wants to stay as far away from Jackson so she doesn't try to hurt Jackson again (despite the physical abuse, Jackson hasn't tried to give up on Joannie, not even once despite how much it can hurt him). At one point Jackson starts to question Joannie's attitude, and why she hates him more than anyone, then Joannie- she's surprisingly not angry, but rather upset, and a bit hurt- explained of how she's always been jealous of Jackson's freedom ever since the moment she saw him, and how long she's always wanted to be free; Joannie also explains that she cares for Jackson no matter how many times she has hurt him, Jackson then holds Joannie in a thigt hug to calm her down, and he apologizes for sounding so harsh, but then Joannie says that she's the one that should apologize instead, about the way she's been; Jackson did not say anything, insted she kisses her on the lips, and Joannie quickly melts on his kiss (Jackson took noticed that she was enjoying it because of the way she moaned, and how she held on to him), and the two collapsed in bed together that way for the rest of the night.
FRIENDSHIP WITH ICY
Joannie develops a friendship with Icy the Polar Bear (due to both having similar personalities, temper problems- though Joannie's is worse- and being loners) which develops into a freindly rivalry (ex. the Snowball Fight); they both like each other's "style" and have been best friends ever since they've met at the Aztec zone. It also turns out that ever since Joannie met Icy, they both developed a love for pranking others (namely the guys), and they are just as good as Furball, but instead there's two of them, meaning double the pranks.
