Ducktales not sure, but he wrote the bipgraphie of "Unca Scrooge" and all his comics are filled to the brim with sub-, sometimes even sub-subplot going mayhem in the panels.

Now the problem with historical fiction... (hopefully I'm not being THAT guy)
Wasn't nylon not introduced to Europe until after WWII? DuPont's introduction in the 1939 New York World's Fair means international pubilicity in April 1939 at the earliest, and with first sales in the US not until October. I don't think it would be possible for Kpr Szpadel to get nylon anywhere :P .
