He may be a little generic, but I can tell you that the waist, the hips, and the stripedy getup are, in the grand scheme of things, quite a new phenomenon. I've been in the fandom since the mid-nineties, and have been laser-focused on crossdressing the entire time. I've seen crossdressing and femmy furry art go from vanishingly rare to wildly popular within only about the last ten years.
Which was great! At first. It started with lingerie and stockings, and that was awesome. But then all of a sudden waists were tiny and asses were gigantic, and the males I wanted to see were gone, replaced by this brand new gender called a "femboy" that I had no interest in whatsoever. It's an improvement over the last crossover sexuality gateway drug--herms--in that at least there aren't boobs, but they're still not male.
