So a few of my friends have been wondering why I don't make more male oc's, while another group of friends have been wanting to do more pokemon related collabs with me, but find my poke oc roster a little lacking. Being the genius that I am, I decided to fix both problems at once by making a lad whose both!~.
INTRODUCING THE SCRUFFY, THE (anti) SCRAWNY, ,THE STYLISH SCRAFTY HIMSELF!...SAMUEL!~
"Being her pokemon has its perks, I don't have to be a trapped in a ball all day and-....I think that's about it really?... - Samuel when asked about Thalia.
Name: Samuel or "Sam" for short.
Height: 4'3
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Occupation: Poke ranger's assistant.
Personality: While Samuel may appear as brash, juvenile, disinterested and blunt to the point of coming off as insensitive at first. This is little more than a facade he puts on due to being unable to properly communicate his feelings towards those close to him. In truth, he's a rather sensitive man who tries his best to take on whatever challenge comes his way with a smile and encourages others to do the same while cheering them up or aiding them when they're down. Like any pokemon, he also loves fighting and much like Sakae, tries his best to look as "Stylish' as possible when doing so.
Bio: (I'm only going to jot down the important/relevant details for now as some bio ideas I've planned for him are still up in the air.)
Once a member of a pokemon liberation movement (Aka, pokemon who wanted to be free from their "chains"/pokeballs and that I can't/won't name for now due to being suck-y at names...) . He was swiftly defeated and captured by Thalia and Sakae during his failed raid against a local pokemon ranger outpost, before eventually being offered the chance to turn a new leaf by the authorities. Upon rejecting the initial offer, Thalia reportedly "beat him silly", as retaliation for fighting her earlier and forced him into becoming her next personal, "poke assistant", until she deemed otherwise or until he's proven to do enough good as to outweigh his previous crimes by her superiors.
Flash forward a few years and the two of them are still rather grumpy at one another, but can still put aside their differences when dealing with any major crimes, outbreak or..."other"...poke ranger related business's. Surprisingly, he has no issues to speak of when it comes to Sakae, Saya or any of Thalia's other pokemon and has actually become good friends with them throughout the years.
