Rubamba and Glosser were two humanoid Intelligence Army Warrior Beasts, who were the principal Monsters on Eps. 43 and 44 of the Great Mazinger Anime, and were part of a Trio with fellow Beast Domez, who was destroy by the Boss Borot. Both Beasts had a considerable muscular frame, with their Brains incorporated in their heads.

Rubamba was a largely grey and white color scheme, with Red forearms, a blue face and abdomen. He had black knee joints and Lavender colored kneecaps and a black belt, with a lavender belt buckle. He sport a white helmet which was adorn with a black head band and Buffalo like horns. His lower legs were adorn with straps. It had great strength and its weapon of choice was a two sided chained mace.

Glosser had a Red and yellow color scheme, he had a black crown with Four horns, and it's weapons of choice were a four sided lance, which he hang on its chest, and a sword by its side.

Rubamba and Glosser had their priorities straight during the Volcano Base journey, to tag team against Great Mazinger, while Domez kept Venus and Borot in Check. As Domez proceeded to Fight Venus, the Volcano Base emerges and Tetsuya launches on the Great Mazinger, flying towards it. As soon Great makes contact he is shutdown by the Base's defenses and Janus order the two Beasts to attack. During the fight Tetsuya suffered a severed cut on his right arm, the pain of it making it incapable to use it.

Seeing Great had fallen into a trap, Kabuto orders Venus to assist Great, but she is taken out by Domez. With the Fortress unprotected, Janus sent Domez to attack the lab, but before he could get there, Domez encounters Boss Borot and is knocked out by Boss' sleeping gas, crashing and exploding on impact. No long after, Shiro informs Boss of the situation with Great and the two fly to the island base, much to the objection of Prof. Kabuto.

With Domez's downfall, Janus order the two Beasts to terminate Great Mazinger, while the Beasts maintain the upper hand on Great beating him constantly, and the Tetsuya's right arm becoming a problem, Great was still able to blast Glosser's both arms off with a Drill Pressure Punch and Great Sword, and impales Rubamba with Knee Spike kick in the stomach. Understanding this was the right opportunity to attack the fortress, The Great Marshall accepts the request of lending the Demonica to assist.

Borot and Robot Jr arrive to provide cover and allow Great to escape, Boss uses the gas on Rubamba who is knocked out – but so are Shiro and the Borot gang. Borot falls into the see, and Robot Jr. is taken and Shiro Hostage. With Jun, Tetsuya and Boss out of action, and Shiro captured, problems get worse as The Volcano Base heads to the Fortress, been followed by the Battleship Demonica, with Julicaesar in charge.

Realizing the severity of the situation, Prof. Kabuto decides to pilot Great Mazinger, Jun wakes up to learn the situation, and flies towards the incoming objects – Venus comes under attack and is shutdown by a missile onto the Volcano Base, where she reunites with the Borot and the two proceed to search for Robot Jr., Great Mazinger takes off with Kabuto piloting it and arrives on the island, coming under attack, he lands and destroys some of the base's weaponry, but is attacks by the now repaired Beasts, the Professor proving no match for them.

Meanwhile, Shiro is found and rescued by Venus and Borot and learns of his father's peril – the three Mechas run to assist, but proof no match for the Beasts – Borot becomes a distraction and has them following them, allowing Kabuto and Shiro to talk things through, when Catloups fire missiles at nearby cliff, causing an avalanche that buries the two, while Borot gets out of commission by one of its own traps. Shiro convinces his father to leave and pass control to Tetsuya to which he reluctantly agrees.

Janus calls Rubamba and Glosser to attack the now abandoned Great Mazinger, and scolds General Julicaesar for trying to go on the attack – Kabuto returns to base and Tetsuya pilots Brain Condor back to Great. He is attacked by the bases missile system, Tetsuya fires missiles at the monsters, and despite the two trying to stop him, interference by Venus and Shiro, allows Tetsuya to dock with Great and takes the fight onto the Beasts.

Glosser is the first to be taken out with a combo of Drill Pressure Punch and Hurricane Rust. While Rubamba took Great down, Borot appears and throws its cape, covering it, Great finishes Rubamba with a Combo of Thunder Break and the Breast Burner. With her plans ruined, and Demonica having long pull back thanks by her rebuke, Janus orders to destroy the Volcano Base Power Core in a desperate attempt to kill the heroes. As the island tears itself apart in the destruction, The Mechas fly away to safety. The Great Marshall takes pleasure in Argos' misery as the Minister vows revenge.
