He wanted a picture of me and him turning into our fursona's while he was playing a video game. what video game? A fictional game called Jaguar Boy, that gets referenced in the real video game I made, My Boyfriend's a Werecat!, which you can check out now on my patreon!
In all honesty, i actually did a ton of worldbuilding(?) into this fictional game within a game. its a 32-bit platformer, made in the late 80's, about a kid who went on a safari with his parents, and found a cursed amulet that turns people into "their inner animal". the plot of the game is the jaguar boy traveling the lands to find a way to reverse this curse.
and, of course, the copy of the game i have in my possession is cursed itself. every time you die in game, you become slightly more your inner animal (basically your fursona if you have one). and Dagero has hit the difficulty spike that is level 6: the Tanker.
oh, and why am I transforming, you may ask? well, it seems the curse also affects backseat gamers as well...

the games curse affects whoever is "playing", with a very odd definition of playing, as it can affect people who are backseat gaming like me. Really, it's probably more accurate to say the games curse applies if you are "engaged" with the game (basically giving it your direct continuous attention for a long time)
am curious how one would help play the game without being in some part, "engaged" with the game.
as for if the TF completed, I'd wager you'd be stuck like that until the game is "finished" in some fashion. beating the game would qualify, but i'd also guess if you completely gave up on the game, and left it away, stopped playing, stopped thinking about the game, stopped "engaging" with the game, you'd maybe slowly transform back to normal. maybe.
