What is "out of place compared to the general themes of art" I make is not a concern as I am allowed to draw what I want so long as I enjoy it, which with the art piece in question, I do. This drawing is not in reference to the Hindenburg as it wasn't part of my intention nor was the vessel destroyed in a dogfight; that in itself is rather pointed.
Thank you for the notes of accuracy, those are all correct... but by intent, this is a general airship, admittedly, akin to, but not actually the Hindenburg. However, if I wish I to draw an airship of that calibre in the future, I'll keep those notes in mind, unless if artistic intent comes first and alters the circumstances, which is a given.
