After Sly and Sakura finished their skating session he drove them back to his house where Maneki had prepared a nice lunch for them all. Luck joined them as well and listened to what her sister pets had done with Sly that morning as they ate.
"Sounds like you both had fun. I can't wait for my turn."she said truthfully.
"Yours will be after Pips. There's a time limit on what I have planned for her date. She should be getting off work soon." said Sly in response.
"Where are you taking her Master?" asked Maneki curiously.
"The aquarium in Vashel. I got a tip from Confetti when I stopped at the bakery last week that Pips loved it when she lived there." replied Sly.
"That will be fun." chimed in Sakura.
"And when we get back, it'll be your turn Kitten." said Sly smiling at Luck now.

Sly drove Sakura home, and then swung by Pip's place to pick her up. He had her put on a blindfold mask and talked to her about her day as he drove. The Dalmatian was getting a little antsy by the time they reached their destination, but her tail never stopped wagging once she removed the mask and realized where they were. Sly held an amused smile on his face as he watched how excitedly his pet went from exhibit to exhibit. It had been years since she was last here. Everything felt fresh and new, but at the same time familiar. They had lunch together in the Aquarium cafe, and in the end they had a great time together, and Pips could hardly contain herself on the ride back when Sly told her that he would bring her back soon.

Yes there is. Watching them swim and glide through the water lends a sense of serenity I've only found doing a select few other things.
Pledging came with some pretty cool benefits. Like free access to the aquarium, discounts on tours and other activities, and member only nights. I miss it sometimes.

So I learned something about Pips today! I already knew she was the cutest puppy, but it's good to know that she likes visiting the aquarium as well.
Looking at the picture, all I can think of is Pips dashing excitedly from tank to tank, tail wagging all the while, and she's just got this huge grin and is chanting "fishy fishy fishyyyyy! "
It's been years since I got to go there, but I still remember the Atlanta, Georgia aquarium--they have a tank big enough for three whale sharks, and there are clear acrylic walkways that run through the tank so you have fish on all sides. It is incredible, and I think my family went something like 3 times in 4 days while we were in Atlanta.
....Good grief that was the year I turned 13...almost half my life ago. I've gotta plan a cross-country trip so I can go back there!

A quick Google image search for "Georgia aquarium" shows that, if Pips ever goes there, it's gonna take a prybar to get her out at closing time--which, in fairness, is pretty much true for me as well ;) Especially since the pics don't really do it justice at all and they're still mind boggling.
Also, is there any time when Pips isn't an adorable and excitable doggo? ;)
