"Ahhhh-fuckit!" Kenzie hissed under her breath as she finished tightening a makeshift bandage over a cut on her arm. Sitting down with her back pressed up against the cold metal walls of the small wrecked room she found refuge within, the orange shark let out a shaky sigh. She was still reeling from the crash and felt wobbly overall, her situation not being helped by the flickering lights that had been damaged. Scrunching her eyes up momentarily, Kenzie takes a deep breath and slowly climbed her way up to her feet, using the wall behind her as something to lean on.
She grunted as she stood to her full height, slightly nursing her side as she straightened her body out. Wounded, tired and afraid she took a moment to listen and look around where she could progress. In the direction she came from she could hear the rain pitter-pattering against the corridor's floor from the unwanted hole in the ceiling as well as other unfavourable sounding noises that she decided she didn't want to deal with. There was mess and littered equipment all around the room, none of it baring any use to her now... most of it she couldn't identify anyway, seeing what was practically expensive junk to her. Looking around more she could see that there was indeed another way to go in this room besides the door back out.
There was a corner that seemed to continue into another section of her room, it was not very well lit at all, the lights there must be completely broken instead of on their last legs like the ones above her now. She felt something in her throat, something she felt like she needed to swallow but couldn't. Kenzie took a few steps forward, wincing as she moved am arm down to unholster her weapon, she continued into the dark unknown...
Alone. Lost. But determined.
