How I draw an anthro skull , a Tutorial
I promised I draw up a sheet on how the skull would look on an anthro horse, least the way I designed the skull.
I started with a basic horse skull, depending on the breed, will shape the skull differently. This same effect would also work with other ungulates.
I was going to have Red Shetland discussing the details, but just ran with what you see here.
So, shall I do more of these? If so...what other anthro versions of the body shall I draw up?

An omnivorous diet actually makes sense given the context that equines can and will turn omnivorous in some circumstances, and they appear to become more aggressive if they do.

My sister once had a Palomino stallion that LOVED to snack on rabbits, feral cats and the occasional stolen hotdog off the picnic table. Thought nothing munching down the dogs kibble while the dog looked at the horse with that "You greedy PIG!" look. Then again, the horse as a foal was literally raised by 6 dogs my sister had after the mare died of Colic 6 weeks after birth.
It was weird watching a stallion, sniffing bases of trees and lifting his leg against them! Especially after a dog had pee'd there.

I like how you did it, Rabbi.
Looks like you put a lot of thought into this, and it shows.
I was talking to a friend about my little dragon, his people have flame breath, but I decided to use a different origin for the flame, not methane like a couple writers use.
I have my dragons having a gland on each side of their mouth, inside, so when they blow out and consciously use the flame, two different fluids combine with the breath to ignite.
I got the idea from watching a documentary about the German ME-163 "Komet" rocket fighter.
Bombadier Beetles have a similar system in their heinies.

Excellent Retroactive Evolution. I used something similar describing anthropomorphic Dogs' paws years ago; and I wrote a bit about Equine 'hands' here.
IRL warhorses were trained to bite out a soldiers neck in a battle, pretty long set of cold chisel front teeth!
Our pony eats the dog's dog food out of his dish if she comes inside the front room, (miniature pony) she does not know it is made out of horse meat, you got to be vigilant she will snatch a mouthful if you are not paying attention - she is housebroken ;learned faster than the dogs too ...and horses are supposed to be less intelligent than dogs!

Yeesh! I thought warhorses were just supposed to be mounts, not attack animals! Gruesomeness!
Also, MiniPony eating dogfood made from horsemeat... Soylent Green, Equestria edition! XD
Finally, I thought horses couldn't be housebroken. I thought they went wherever they wanted to. I found that out on the highway. I mean, it made sense, since they couldn't really communicate to the driver that they had to go, but I still learned several things at that point. 1: They will poo in horse trailers. 2: Horse trailer doors will not contain poo. 3: Do not follow a horse trailer. 4: Do NOT hit the windshield wipers!

Did you transpose the facial muscles of a human and a horse together? did you build the braincase larger as well to accommodate a larger brain? Did you change the neck bones to accommodate the slightly longer skull to seem equine but have binocular vision, and hold the head at an erect angle?
What else to draw up how about the proportion of the arms to the legs and how to do fingernails, or how you put a thumb on a horse!?
Drawing humans are 7 heads, herculean is eight heads, Mine is 9 heads tall. How many heads are Red Shetland?
I elongated the forearms, a human has shorter forearms than upper arms. (anatomy fact). I also elongated the hands slightly.
When did you do all this interpolation of equine and human? (my copyright was 1974 but was for a comic book character race. I decided on building an RPG in 1982).

I guess I should do an anthro version of horsies too! but I did this one for an Anhes contest that I did not know was going to be rigged. I followed the rules and did what was required but Anhes broke his own rules and judged other artists using their best pieces!
Anyway, it shows the shortened skull I use on my horsies.
