Soo, I was dabbling with some potions, and, dealing with bit to playful sock feathers in the Silkie Kingdom, trying to make a new brew to help bring the best out of our fabric again. Unfortunately my silky forms parts got a bit confused and my wash brew ended up with ingredients I did not mean to...I did not think the alteration would be to troubling and tried it out...
Low and behold these little mischievous things came to be from a wash. A little sock came animated, not 'too' abnormal in the silkie kingdom, but this one became a little quick terror to laundry bins alike.
The Cotton Goblins, I have come to call them, as the little bugger escaped, and somehow multiples, are little trouble makers with mischievous natures. They shift about becoming humanoid like, usually patching together a spare sock or cloth to add as accessories like clothing or the likes. They seem to have a chitter like language and are indeed intelligent, with a pendant for taking things, little knickknacks one would use for sewing such as thread needles and pins. What makes them troubling is the fact they sneak around, swipe socks and clothing and take them away to make others or sew with. Normally with average clothing its not 'too' bad but they particularly like taking Silkie parts too. And using a special sewing technique they may 'let' the person find or regain their missing fabric part, or just put it back before the subject realize it was gone.
After it is returned, the careful rune like stitching cases the part to become as mischievous as the Goblin, it will act out against the silkie even if they are whole and even cause..well rather embarrassing matters to happen or just cause a per verbal mess...thankfully, the stitch is not permanent, and eventually just 'fades off' on its own after some hours returning the silkie part to normal
Silkies everywhere, be on guard for these little terrors...also..if anyone has seen my sock arms bring them back.. ->-'
