Kyrophon's getting older, perhaps 16 years old here and changes are starting to take place in the young cnossan's body and mind. As a male cnossan begins to come of age, powerful growth hormones flood through him in concentrations that would be lethal in most other species. Believed to be the start of a perilous spiritual journey, the young bull will develop a ravenous and insatiable hunger to fuel a growth spurt that will see him double in height and increase in weight as much as 8-fold over just a few short years. Unfortunately the extreme hormonal imbalance required to drive this change causes a raft of dangerous psychological symptoms as well, including extreme irritability, hyperaggression and bloodlust. Combined with their rapidly increasing physical strength, this presents a serious problem even for their closest loved ones.

Wooow, here we go! The first page of this comic which you know, actually looks like a comic! xD
I had the sketches done for this quite early on, but I got a bit paralysed by indecision. I realised that I don't really know anything about laying out a comic and I hadn't storyboarded this nearly well enough. Still, once I pulled finger and got onto it, I got a lot of it done fairly quick, especially since I could recycle a lot of background elements and resample colours I'd used in previous panels.

Also, I love fire. Has anyone noticed?

Anyhow, with some feedback from friends, I muddled my way through and I'm rather pleased with the result. I'm still quite interested to hear any suggestions for layout, readability, all that jazz.
