Planning Is Essential ~"Eugh", Jax threw his gym back out on the bench after a rather unsuccessful workout. "That damn wolf, always
getting in my way" he thought to himself, the wolf in question who always lingered around Jax, had failed miserably
to spot him as he benched his weights, "it's almost as if ... he enjoyed it" as the wolf simply stared at him when he
was struggling to lift the bar off his throat. It was nearing closing time for the gym, as the final enthusiasts finished up
for the day, Jax was not one of them, but simply preferred the quieter atmosphere in the later afternoons. the
changing rooms were quiet, with the last few people leaving, while Jax muttered bitterly to himself, absorbed in his
own thought. "Hey, sorry about earlier" came a voice from behind him, Jax turned around sluggishly, "Oh, it's you" he
spoke sarcastically, disregarding the wolf with disinterest. There was a brief silence as Jax continued putting his
clothes away, "I mean it" the wolf pleaded, "I ... I care about you". This earned his interest. Jax turned around to face
the wolf, who was stood awkwardly looking at him. A brief time passed as Jax tried to think of an appropriate
reaction as his bitterness turned to confusion to a feeling he didn't even know, this left him simply letting out an
"errrrrrrrrrr". The wolf took a step forward toward him, "I have ... feelings for you", this confirmed Jax's worst
nightmare, or deepest desire, he wasn't sure. He had never been interested in guys before, the idea seemed obscure
and frankly a subject he never gave any attention to, it's not like the idea repulsed him, he simply never considered i
t before. " I, I don't know what to say" he admitted, as enough time passed that his brain decided something needed
to be said. The wolf took another couple of steps forward, still holding himself nervously, "I haven't been able to stop
thinking about you recently". Jax had never really thought about other people like that before, though he did admit to
himself that the guys in the gym did make him feel strange sometimes; in a good way. while he was thinking of
something meaningful to say, the wolf took another couple of steps toward him but hitting his shin hard against the
bench as he passed, causing him to yelp and stumble into the direction of Jax. The wolf hit Jax and both wolf and dog
fell against the lockers, sliding down it slowly. "Ow" they both muttered as they slowly slid down the lockers onto the
floor. for what felt like a lifetime, they both sat there, on the floor, looking forward silently, as neither one wanted to
say the next sentence. Eventually all forms of social awkwardness dissipated as it really couldn't get any worse, the
wolf chuckled to himself, "y'know, this wasn't how I planned it", "how so?" Jax asked. He chuckled again, "I played
this over in my head so many times, I would come up to you and sweep you off your feet, profess my love and you
would confess yours, and we would both be lost in the moment, perhaps a kiss or two", Jax looked around the room,
and chuckled slightly as well. "yeeeah, things rarely go according to plan". Then they both turned to each over,
looking deep into the other's eyes, seeing a person that they could care for. Jax felt a sudden attraction to this wolf,
as he smiled back, taking a moment, "about that kiss" he asked, still staring into the wolfs eyes. His ears perked up
and his face lightened, the wolf leaned in for a kiss as did Jax, and they felt the early seed of love be sown. The wolf
got up with a groan and no small amount of effort from his arms as he pushed himself off the floor.
He stood over Jax, and offered a paw.
Jax smiled softly, reached up, and took the paw
