While shopping at Walmart, I picked up a multi-color LED strip for $4.88. The light strip has an adhesive backing to it, is powered by a single USB socket, and can be configured to statically or dynamically display any of the 16 static colors by means of infrared remote control. The LED brightness is adjustable with 16 different intensities. The color cycling is variable speed, and can either cross-fade or instantly jump to the next color. In this photo, I am using an everyday USB power bank to run the light strip, and the LED's are set to white at full brightness.

The photo was taken on my chair because it was the only decent-looking dark background I have. ^^;
