Her mother was a Tiefling from a well off family and her father was a blind Thri-kreen from a below-ground group of monks.
The two fell in love and had Valeary but sadly never saw her grow up because Val was taken upon birth and her parents were told she was stillborn.
But this is one of their few happy moments together before everything went downhill.
