Skye inhaled deeply, testing her newly-transformed lungs against the cool, clean air. She opened her eyes, taking in the environment around her. If ever she needed a confirmation that she had made the right choice in becoming an Istrala, this moment was it. As the knowledge of her powers flooded her mind and new instincts and reflexes made themselves known to her, the powerful Istrala looked up, seeing that the future for this new demon was bright.
