A while back I held my 250 watchers raffle, and Serratia was one of the winners. The result was this lovely piece between her and me. [Raffle winners proof >>]
We chose this piece, which have a smiliar theme to our Yin & Yang piece, to more than anything represent our friendship. We had a rather rough start long ago, but when we made amends after that, both saw something in the other, and after that we grew closer and closer by the day. Of course we do play intimately with eachother from time to time, but there is much much more than that.
So here we have Serratia holding her dear ebon pearl, shining and glimmering like the finest rare onyx; while Val holds her dear crystal white sparkling deep sea pearl. For while we both are oceans apart, we are still so close that we can almost feel eachother's touch. As this piece so beautifully depicts, we hold eachother close with care; thoroughly appreaciating the beauty of the other and holding her dear and close, despite being so far apart.
