Finally, after much planning and artist browsing Shilo's redesign is complete!
I just fell out of the old design. I mean, I love the character but she didn't reflect me or who I wanted to be anymore. But i had her for so long that getting rid of her or abandoning her just didn't feel right.
Then one day while going through old stuff (been in the process of moving and unpacking) I found some old sketchbooks of mine from when I first came up with Shilo. I'd forgotten that I started her out as a snow leopard! And I loved the idea of having her go back to that. As for the dreads...well I've been aching for a character with dreads for some time now and I thought a full on redesign could spark my interest in my fursona as well as scratch that dread itch!

Destinyvirus did an amazing job on this reference sheet for me. She came out exactly as I imagined her and I am in love with this redesign.
