DR stands for Damage Reduction and the ranger armor is one of the best medium weigth armors there is in New Vegas, also that gun on her back is the GRA Medicine Stick which costs 14000 caps so i assume she must be at least level 20 so no the granade would do a whole lot of nothing to her XD
Unless you skilled explosive weapons granades and the like become jokingly underpowered in mid to late game :/
